I'm so glad you're talking about biodynamic gardening! I went out seeking the ancient wisdom about growing plants maybe 25 years ago. I discovered biodynamics and the teachings of Steiner, life changing. FYI -even King Charles has studied BD. He visited a 1400-acre BD farm in Kentucky, Fox Hollow Farm, because he wanted to see it in action. You're not the only one who checks in with the elementals before planting. They designed my gardens and keep everything thriving. When I try imposing my will on things, it never works out as well. Blessings to you both and the animals!

Hi Juracy - I recommend "The Biodynamic Year" by Maria Thun. It's easier to understand than some of Steiner's writings. Here in the US the organization "Steiner Books" sells it. The web address for that book is: https://steinerbooks.org/products/9781906999148-the-biodynamic-year

Happy growing!

Blessings Gail-Elizabeth, delighted to hear that you are working with the elementals at your place too. I'm sure it makes a huge difference. As little said about Charles the better though. xx

Hello lovely Terri and thank you so much, Lol, for the exquisite photography, fiming and music. I do love your delightful animals.

I have been growing with the moon - and doing most other things with it - for years now and when I don't bother, I regret it. I personally prefer Johanna Paungger's method but possibly that is because that is the first one I found many years ago. However, I do still look at the Bio-Dynamic method. The difference seems to be only in small details.

As for what people scoff at as being ''woo woo'', that is merely because a fear has been deliberately created by those who do not have our best interests at heart for everything that one cannot measure, weigh or see etc. Now, as we leave the Kali Yuga at long last, things will start to improve and people will start to understand that most unseen forces are tryingto help us.

May the powers of the moon and the elementals support you in creating a thriving and beautiful garden

Much love

Suzannah

I have Johanna Paunggers book and just pulled it off the shelf today. It brings us up to 2020 I think and I would like an update. She has written others so I will look into those too.. Thank you so much - I am sure they will help, we just have to ask xx

I am considering gardening by the moon too, I love and believe in using everything natural and love living in the old ways too. Trying not to let too much technology into my days. Although I love being able to keep in touch I do not want too many distractions from it. I am usually easily distracted so am practicing more mindfulness and meditations. This is the problem with having a butterfly mind. I thought the energies leading up to, during and after the eclipse were quite searching. I think this proves how strong our moon is. We have actually been able to see her full this month. After months of thick cloud obscuring her. Hope we can share experiences, I am going to start this year using moon gardening. I find this quite exciting!

We were lucky too, clear skies the week before and amazing light throughout the three days. I agree re the old ways, the slower pace and less technology xx

Rudolf Steiner was a great mind/teacher. I used Waldorf method for child education and it was the best and effective. Used a bit in gardening. I found meditation or open to the rhythm of the earth helped with the planting and growing. Charts help a lot for the year and season. Electro culture was a huge boost up for my garden.

Here it is a rainy stormy Sunday, late morning, and the sojourn into your world of sunny work and playful pets is revivifying! I have considered planting by the moon many times, but end up serendipitously following whim and whatever I have at hand to plant. As I age and find myself overwhelmed by the constant take-over of blackberry brambles in my garden spaces, I see I do need to refine my techniques again. In these troubled times, I believe it is time to return to many of the old ways (and I have no issue with 'woo-woo' where it comes in either) -- kind of along the "back to the garden" theme, I do believe! Thanks as always for the offering of your film as you bring us what you learn while learning yourself, along with delightful images of happy kittens and pupsters under sky and branch and bush.

So glad to hear you enjoyed the video Anne. I too have followed whim and weather in the past but I am going to be strict with myself until I fall into the natural flow of it. I think we all here, agree, that we need to return to the old ways and make that reconnection xx

Very similar here, I always used to use the "Old Farmers Almanac" which also uses Astrology for what days are best for which farming, and food harvesting/ storage. Have been much more interested in learning to do this without having to use the actual almanac giving me the date over the past few years. Good luck, what you envision will be will also happen.

Thanks and good luck to you too. I will learn this technique and then fall into the flow - I hope! We are all doing our best which is such a good thing xx

Bridget Center in Wisconsin is also focused on biodynamic process. So much to learn about our interconnected world. I love your reflecting on Noreen’s share of moon wisdom, …your body engaged in clearing while shoveling was fun as I felt engaged in change rather than resisting. May the unseen world of love recognize your sincere intention and bless the newly cleared land with easy and nourishing ground cover. Oregano and thyme come to mind. And so it is!💫🍀🌱❤️

Good Morning Terri,

Following up from your post/comment, I noticed some resistance in me regarding my need to accept the freshly falling snow yesterday morning as I viewed the daffodils in full expression, longing to be in synch with the earth expressing Spring in Ireland especially as we progress through the Wheel of the Year… I often feel a ‘separation’ if you can imagine this.

But today I am choosing to experience it differently, almost like your videos are for telling of what is coming so that my heart can prepare with delight… checking the condition of my tools and just now planting indoor seeds.

Moving into and through the seasons is a process and, working with the seed gathering/ land is indeed an outer expression of an inner reality.

Peace and joy in our cultivating. ♥️
