Thank you Terri! I really look forward to your Sunday videos. I work a Sunday each fortnight, so no matter whether it's a cosy watch with breakfast on my Sunday off or a welcome watch after work, it's always a feel good moment on the day of the Sun. Thank you for this little flash of summer!
Thanks for another lovely and informative video. I love hearing all the folklore! Of course the surprise start of the kitten pop-up at the table was hilariously adorable! Your two kittens look so similar, it's like only seeing one kitten....Is one more involved in your doings, perhaps? It was a treat to 'meet' your daughter and grandson, visit that gorgeous island, hear the piper piping (and was that his wife on the concertina?) Here we just recently began to get a little gray and rain ourselves - finally looking seasonal and not like eternal summer, which I appreciate as a nice contrast.
The kittens are almost identical. That was Milly popping up so cheekily. She is more shy and reserved than her brother. Always nice to feel the change in season xx
What a lovely island and that piper is brilliant . That cake looks yummy. Thank you for sharing your outing. Does your daughter live in Berlin? Bet you miss her so far away. Just saying as I moved the other way, Germany to UK, many moons ago.
Oh my! You have a house full of life with all your fur babies. I see you in your daughter very much. Beautiful women! I am taking your suggestion and having more herbal teas. They do make a difference. Have a lovely day.
Memories, memories of my childhood when I always helped my Mother make the Christmas cake using a similar recipe except that we used brandy instead of whiskey. Thank you. so much.
O dear Terry; so lovely to see you with your daughter and grandson (?), walking on Inishbofin Island. My husband andI have been there, years ago and did the same walk. (stayed at Emerald cottage) So nice to see it again, with you. I will try out your cake recipe. I love your intro with one of the kittens and hopely will shine the sun again, soon. With love, Sjoukje.
Ever since I saw a documentary on the Irish TV Channel, TG4 (www.TG4.ie) called 'Paddy na Meachain', I've been meaning to visit Inisbofin Island. It follows a beekeeper, Paddy Ó Fiannachta trying to create a sanctuary for his bees, the native Irish honey bee, Apis mellifera mellifera on the island with his friend, John O’Halloran. The interaction between the two men is something special. Your video this week is a salve for the soul. You were blessed with the sunny weather and calm waters. It's obvious that the camera man has a great sense of humour and mischief. Many thanks for sharing your recipe, a very generous gesture on your behalf. And , yes, stirring the mix and making a wish is one of the most important ingredients!
A wonderful documentary. Paddy is a kind and gentle man and very considerate of how everything in the environment is related. So glad you enjoyed this video and glad too that it brought peace and pleasure xx
What a treat! Starting with the Kitten to the Christmas Cake 🎂 and the Gorgeous Island Trip with your Lovely Daughter and Grandchild! The Pipes made me want to dance; though everyone was so low key at the Pub, probably having grown up with such Magical Live Music!
I can't believe we are so close to the Solstice! How wonderful that you have a Holy Well near your Home! Thank You So Much for Brightening my Sunday!💖💖
Thank you so much. Delighted to hear the pipes moved you - I love the pipes. A lot of the people there were tourists . So glad to hear that the videos brighten your Sunday, thank you xx
Just watched your video on YouTube, glad you're also here on Substack!
Yes, I'm here and there - although you get more here😂 Thanks for watching xx

Thank you Sjoukje, To think you have been to our local island! Lol was so lucky with the shot of the kitten, she popped up like a little puppet😂 xx
Cute cute kitties. I love seeing them. Yum on the cake.
Please take me on the next visit. The sound of the sea is so healing. Lol is still a great artist that enriches my life.
I certainly will Tacy xx
