Blessings in Disguise

I love this time of year; the slow descent into winter and the colder and shorter days, cosy fires to snuggle up by, warming soups and stews, walks in the woodlands and making plans. We celebrated the Solstice with a candle - a good sized one - as we had an unexpected storm and lashing rain. (Often our plans for the bonfire are thwarted but the Light was still welcomed and celebrated.)
