Storm Éowyn hit last week - or was it almost two weeks ago at this stage. Difficult to keep track of time as power and water was out and so was the internet for at least a week. Since then, the internet connection is incredibly weak and is intermittent, coming and going. I tried to upload this video on Saturday last and when it still hadn’t been uploaded by Sunday afternoon I had to leave it. (It took from Saturday morning to Sunday lunchtime for the YouTube film to finally upload.)
We had a little wind Monday and Tuesday, not enough to make any difference to our internet connection usually but this time, the internet is barely there. And so, I am trying again.
I have a couple of posts to upload once this goes up and hopefully they will manage to upload later today and tomorrow. After so many days of no posts you will be getting several at once - rather like double deckers!! (I am refering here to the local bus routes in England; your bus doesn’t arrive on time and hours later three come at once!)

Thank you so much to all who have sent good wishes and prayers for our safety and well being. I cannot express adequately how lovely it is to receive such heartfelt communications. It really brings a lump to my throat to think of people taking time out of their busy days to send an email or a message on Instagram, so kind. Perhaps thanks to all the good wishes, we are pretty unscathed and the damage we have sustained can be fixed. Losing a large tree and a couple of smaller ones means there will now be more light in the garden so who knows what will spring up. There may be space now for bulbs and perennials.
I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding regarding the delay in uploading posts and if the problem continues I will try to get into town and get things uploaded there. In the meantime, Imbolc Blessings to everyone, may you feel re-invigorated and rejuvenated with the new light that is shining in spring time.

P.S I started to upload this video at 10a.m on Wednesday 5th February and finally……. it is now 10a.m on Thursday and the video has still not loaded. You can find it on YT and I am very sorry I can’t get it on here. I’m keeping fingers crossed that this issue will be sorted out.
My best to everyone. Asheville, North Carolina is still recovering from Hurricane Helene as well - we all understand. It has a way of bringing everyone together and in the best ways.
Hi Terri don’t worry about posting folk know the circumstances and as they say worse things happen at sea 😉 x
